Our volunteers come in all sizes, shapes and colors, but their hearts are for serving our Veterans. The back of our volunteer shirts has the slogan “Our Greatest National Treasure is our Military Men and Women”.
Volunteer activities include:
- Calling veterans prior to each flight to verify information and availability for flight.
- Calling guardians prior to flight to verify information and availability for flight.
- Meet at Honor Flight office to prepare flight information to send to veterans and guardians.
- Help at Orientation meetings
- Greeting Veterans and Guardians
- Handing out t-shirts, jackets and Memorial books
- Help at QC airport – greeting veterans and guardians in the morning
- Help at QC airport – greeting veterans and guardians home from DC.
