Honor Flight Planning for Resumption of Flights
The Board of Honor Flight of the Quad Cities and its many volunteers have put in motion the first steps to resuming flights to Washington DC. The initial plans are for flights for those veterans who served sometime during WWII, Korea, and Viet Nam conflicts.
Although the exact dates are not yet available, they will be announced as soon as possible. It is hoped that flights will begin sometime during the fall of 2021.

Today’s Date: March 11, 2020 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 16th Honor Flight postponed due to COVID-19
In consideration of the CDC’s guidance and the serious nature of the public health threat posed by COVID-19, the National Board of Honor Flight has issued a mandatory postponement of all Honor Flight trips effective immediately. This includes the Quad Cities flight on April 16th.
On March 10 2020, the National Hub Network board held an emergency meeting concerning this developing situation and discussed the CDC’s recently issued advisory that adults over age of 60 are particularly at risk of infection and should avoid all non-essential air travel.
