Veteran Application
Honor Flight recognizes American veterans for their sacrifices and achievements by flying them to Washington, DC to see the memorials at no cost.
Priority continues to be for WWII veterans, Korea veterans, and terminally ill veterans of these wars. Guardians fly with the veterans on every flight, providing assistance and helping veterans to have a safe, memorable, and rewarding experience.
Attention: There has been some confusion about Guardians. Honor Flight has enough guardians for you and every veteran. There is no need for you to get a guardian. We will assign a trained guardian for you. They will ensure that you can relax and have a wonderful Honor Flight.
Please download the Veteran application from the link below. For more information, please call the Honor Flight office at (563) 388-3592.

Honor Flight would not be successful without the generous support of our guardians. Guardians play a significant role on every trip, ensuring that every veteran has a safe memorable experience.
Duties include, but not limited to, physically assisting the veterans at the airport, during the flight and at the memorials, sometimes requiring heavy lifting. You may be assigned more than one veteran.
Guardians donate $400 to cover their expenses.
