Chip in to Support Honor Flight

Birdies for Charity is a key fundraising component for Quad Cities’ non-profits, including The Honor Flight of the Quad Cities.  We are dealing with some difficult times during this COVID-19 pandemic, but we are hoping to see a more normal summer, including the John Deere Classic.

We hope that you will consider supporting Honor Flight of the Quad Cities through Birdies for Charity. The pledges you make now will be distributed to Honor Flight this fall — after the John Deere Classic takes place July 6-12, 2020.

In addition to your pledges, the Classic will provide a match of at least 5%, making your donations even more impactful! You can win amazing prizes, including a 2-year lease on a 2020 Lexus NX.

In consideration of the CDC’s guidance and the serious nature of the public health threat posed by COVID-19, the National Board of Honor Flight has issued a mandatory postponement of all Honor Flight trips effective immediately. This includes the Quad Cities flight of April 16th.

On March 10, 2020, the National Board held an emergency meeting concerning this developing situation and discussed the CDC’s recently issued advisory that adults over the age of 60 are particularly at risk of infection and should avoid all non-essential air travel.
